Sooo.......I tried things that I have not had in two months. I ate ice cream and chocolate cake, pizza ( the veggie one from Pizza Hut), macaroni and cheese and topped it off with the shrimp platter from Red Lobster. Delicious! I wanted to see how my body reacted to certain foods, like that cake?! You can keep it. It felt like my teeth were being coated with pounds of sugar and I immediately felt jittery....Interesting. However, the ice cream was received with love. Lol! I bought Ben & Jerry's Mint Chocolate Chip, mini cup. I may include this in my weekend menu. Even though I have not had any beef, pork, or chicken, I still love dairy. Not sure if I can let it go. Does that still make me a Vegetarian?
This here is real life people and THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES! I don't have a magic wand to zap away the fat (I wish), I don't want to walk around all day, uncomfortable, in a "suck up suit" (that's what I call them), holding my breath until I get home. P.S. just buy clothes that are loose enough and you won't have that struggle. Ha! Don't be mad! Neither am I buying diet pills, that will trick my mind into thinking I'm full (I'm proud of that). The only pills I am taking are the fish oil supplements. I really don't want to take those either, but I've been told they are good for me. I want to experience real challenges and overcome them with hard, honest, eating habits and sweaty workouts. Do what works for you. I've always been told I make things difficult. :-)
As far as workouts this week, they have been minimal. I had a full schedule all week and I may have went to Zumba once. I know...I know. I also didn't continue with the "Get Ripped in 30", due to the fact that I overthink and I felt like my stomach is still too big, to even see if it gets ripped or not, annnnnnd I lost my remote control to the DVD Player. Not good at all. Lol! I also noticed that my body still looks the same, so I have another solution for my workouts, but I'll let you know next week, after I complete it. It seems, when I mention something, I usually change my mind half way through and I don't want that to happen this time. Not sure why this happens to me.
Incase you are wondering about my pounds lost/gained this week. I don't even know. The scale went up, down and stayed the same. It could be these heavy braids, the pizza I ate, or the fact that I weighed myself almost everyday, before and after eating meals? (Shrugs) I'll go back to one day a week.
In my photo updates, I made a slideshow of my progress thus far. I am not even close to where I want to be, but I am proud that I am not where I used to be. I have come too far to give up now and I will keep pushing and climbing every mountain to complete my journey. I shall finish strong, no matter how long it takes.
Peace.
